SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) -- Two lawsuits were filed against Bellarmine College Prep in connection with the school's role in enabling alleged sexual abuse in the 1960s and 70s, court documents show. The person who filed the lawsuit was a 15-year-old student at the San Jose prep school, located at 960 W Hedding St, in the 1969-70 school year, per the lawsuit. He claims he was abused by Brother William “Bill” Farrington, and the abuse was enabled by the school. According to attorney Mary Bajo, Farrington performed a "hernia check" on the victim every time he visited the infirmary, even if he was in for knee or hand injuries. Woman accused of deadly San Jose hit-and-run identified “Farrington wasn’t authorized to perform hernia checks,” Bajo said. “To our knowledge, he had no medical training. He certainly was not a licensed doctor or certified nurse. This was a huge red flag that Bellarmine should have seen and put a stop to Farrington’s behavior.”The lawsuit said the incidents bega...Luke Voit guaranteed $2M in 1-year deal with Brewers

The table was set for celebration on Tuesday night at the Garden, but the Bruins didn’t show up for dinner. With the Tampa Bay Lightning beating the Carolina Hurricanes, the B’s had a chance to clinch the Presidents’ Trophy while simultaneously recording a Bruins’ record for wins in a season. But the B’s shot blanks all night and absorbed just their fourth regulation loss at home, a 2-1 decision to the Nashville Predators.Cody Glass scored late in the second period and it held up until old friend Jeremy Lauzon scored an empty-netter.David Pastrnak scored with less than a second left, but the B’s would have to wait another night to clinch the inevitable. The teams played a messy, scoreless first period in which neither team could cash in on multiple power play opportunities. The Preds had a 30-second 5-on-3 that they did nothing with while the B’s went went 0-for-3 on their chances. The B’s best chance came on the penalty kill when Brandon...Celtics’ chances of No. 1 seed slip with bad loss to lowly Wizards

They fell to 2.5 games back of the Bucks – who could push it to three games on Wednesday night in Indiana – with just six games remaining.Boston looked like it was turning a corner after three consecutive dominant efforts in wins over the Kings, Pacers and Spurs, b...Man injured after being struck by a vehicle near Yonge and Lawrence
