Giant Almond Croissant / Belkys Ingredients:1 sheet store-bought puff pastry, thawed (cold)1/2 cup sugar4 tbs. unsalted butterpinch kosher salt3/4 cup blanched almond flour1 large egg1 1/2 tsp. almond extract1/2 cup sliced almondsconfectioners sugar for toppingMethod of Preparation:Defrost pastry dough according to package directions, but keep very cold to make it easier to work with.Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.Unfold the sheet of pastry and set on a rimmed baking sheet. On Friday, the city said its vacancy rate is 15.3%—the lowest it has been since February 2022. Vacancies have dropped from 2,537 in January to 2,401 openings in April.
